32 | 64 | 90 is an international creative showcase, featuring a curated group
of 32 creatives from the 32 competing countries in 2014’ World Cup.
Representing their national teams, the creatives produced original
90 minute artworks that document their nation’s journey through
the tournament. We had the honor to represent Costa Rica.

URUGUAY vs. COSTA RICA

14 JUN 2014 - ESTADIO CASTELAO - FORTALEZA
1 - 3

Lots of pressure to win the game and to represent Costa Rica in 32|64|90.
Costa Rica won after a glorious comeback. Same as our national team
we needed to make a statement and let the world know we are game.

ITALY vs. COSTA RICA

20 JUN 2014 - ARENA PERNAMBUCO - RECIFE
0 - 1

It took us a couple of days to settle down and get back to work
after so much celebration. Italy was the next in line. David vs. Goliath.
We won again and every news outlet started calling Costa Rica’s National
team the “Giant Slaughter” and we wanted to be part of it.

 COSTA RICA vs. ENGLAND

24 JUN 2014 - ESTADIO MINEIRAO - BELO HORIZONTE
0 - 0

Costa Rica ended up on top of the group with 7 points and without
losing a game. We were now part of the last 16, which meant more
possibilities to present our work. Confident, that’s how we felt.

COSTA RICA vs. GREECE

29 JUN 2014 - ARENA PERNAMBUCO - RECIFE
1 : 1 ( 5 : 3 )

A last minute goal in a never-ending game. This one took quite a while
to get ready as we wanted to pay tribute to our goalie Navas
for saving the penalty shot by Gekas during the penalty shootout.
We did so and got back to celebrating.

NETHERLANDS VS. COSTA RICA

05 JUN 2014 - ARENA FONTE NOVA - SALVADOR
0 : 0  ( 4 : 3 )

Was this going to be our final poster? We felt confident enough to say no,
but the football gods had different plans. Another 120 minute long game,
penalties and we were out. A mix of feelings. We have played
and pet the lion but it was time for us to go.
