After watching several of our lesbian friends go through the complicated process of starting a family, we realized there was a glaring void for a comprehensive online resource for LGBT parents and parents-to-be. We came up with the idea to create a website that spoke to people like us. Our motto: Less rainbows, more advice.
The site launched in the summer of 2011, providing a mix of personal stories, LGBT parenting resources, and news for gay and lesbian parents. Today, the site reaches over 15,000 unique visitors a month and we’ve heard from people all over the world, helped a bunch of folks figure out the ups and downs of parenting, and learned how quickly a good thing can spread.
