Book jacket design for Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
While reading the book as my research for this project, I decided to go with the idea of depicting the main female character and her three different personalities based on the people she’s with (and the three names she associates with).
One of the book's main ideas is the emphasis on contrast, so I made sure show that contrast between the subject matter on the front and back cover (including the inside flaps), while also focusing on creating something that conveyed a weathered down, melancholy, almost eerie feeling.
