Vasylkivska Majolica is one of the oldest enterprises of Ukraine for the production of earthenware. It has been produced in Vasylkiv town since 1928.
Even today, the enterprise tries to preserve as much as possible ancient production technologies and clay recipes.
The peculiarity of Vasylkiv majolica is that each product is painted by hand. Liquid clays - engobes - are used for drawing. And artistic techniques - flandrivka and pastilage - were known even in the times of Kyivan Rus.
