Stencil Laser Cutting
For this project, the architect designed the graphics, with my role being to create and set up laser-cut stencils. Using Adobe Illustrator, I recreated the designs to the specified size and ensured the exported files were in the correct format for laser cutting. I also converted all text to outlines to avoid any font issues.
Using a laser cutting machine, I created stencils for each design. High-quality material was used to ensure that the stencils would not easily tear or wear out, as these stencils needed to be reusable. The client used the stencils to paint the designs onto the parking lot pillars and walls. They were able to easily position and use the stencils due to the accurate dimensions and high-quality material.
