Nutcrackers Search-and-Find Game for Style section cover
Gus Morais was commissioned to illustrate the Style section cover for the Christmas edition of Washington Post for the 7th consecutive year. I've worked with WashPost’s professionals Alla Dreyvitser, Agnes Lee and Eddie Alvarez to bring to life this new illustration.
This time, I wanted a more classic location: a giant Toy Store with classic and modern toys.
Like in the previous drawings, I’ve added something magic and new to bring chaos and fun to the environment: in this artwork, the nutcrackers have gone mad and alive, playing tricks on everybody.

The full-size detailed illustration is also available as an interactive seek-and-find game at Washington Post's website. For this year, we’ve added a new feature that made the search experience even funnier: a timer which shows the total time spent to find all characters!
