Porthole Wall Sculpture

This is part of my porthole series, where I create colors and patterns on metal using different chemicals.  In a sense, painting with chemical reactions.
The Segmented ring is made of Wenge and accented with Padauk; the disc is steel patinated with various chemical reactions and sealed in with a clear satin coat.
The sculpture hangs on a small wooden Fremch cleat
21″ Tall
16 1/2″ Wide
1 5/8″ Deep
When considering where to hang this piece, it is best to hang it on a wall that gets natural light to highlight the colors and patterns in the metal or use an art light to highlight the piece.
