A grid is a skeleton that can be used to produce completely different looks. Can we use grids as a graphic design element excluding their function? Can it be an interesting part
to just to look at? I created a series of “montages” using the Neue Machina font. In these
I only used grids as an aesthetic element, completely ignoring the primary functions.
It leaves us with an interesting question: if we only use it as a design element, 
then is there a purpose for it? Nowadays with the range of modern designs
(ex. antidesign) is there a function or it’s just pretty to look at?
