The Cricut cutting machine introduced watercolor markers as a new product in 2022. The Cricut can use svg files to draw lines on paper, when water is applied to the paper the watercolor paint is activated. Cricut's free patterns offered in their proprietary software did not offer designs that really made use of the watercolor. I developed a drawing technique in Adobe Illustrator that after drawn, a wet paint brush with blend the colors so the finished painting has depth and looks like a watercolor painting. I've created three series of watercolor paintings that have been distributed through a top YouTube bloggers website.
