Here you can see my sketch of the logo, I had about 10 other sketches but went with this because. "Adventure Quest" is a travel agency that provides outdoor gear. And I decided to go for a "A" being a boomerang possibly going through a compass.

Here is the result of the "Adventure Quest" logo I started out with a black and white version of it so I wouldn't have to worry so much about the colors while trying to focuse on my design also. I also provided a black and white version of the word mark as well.
