Night Elf (World of Warcraft)
Hello! Today I want to share not only beautiful renders, but also a small process of creating a model.
Initially it was just a model for 3D printing, but I wanted to add textures to it. I didn't do any retopology for the model, I just used the zermesher and auto unwrap for the UV. (I must admit sometimes it seems more painful than making a retop.)
references that were used to create the model:

As expected, I started with a-pose. The Wrathful Gladiator's Scaled Armor was taken as a basis for armor and the Tabard of the Lightbringer was taken as a basis for tabard;
Wrathful Gladiator's Shield Wall - hi-poly;
For 3D printing, i divided the figure into more than 18 pieces. I wanted the detail to be preserved as much as possible, since the model was planned to be printed 30 cm in height;
At first the shield was supposed to be placed behind the back (as in the game), but this created some difficulties and interference, so it was decided to stick the sword into a stand and create an earthen surface and stones on the stand.
The textures took twice as long as usual because the model was already posed and each detail had to be drawn separately. Basically I did not use generators, filters, and added all the shadows, details, light - using only a brush.
When creating the final render, I wanted to convey the atmosphere of a dungeon, a little fog and darkness.
