PSA Poster Campaign - BYUI ART235
For this project, students were asked to choose a social or environmental need and create a series of three print ad posters that could be used in a Public Service Announcement (PSA) print campaign. We were encouraged to create imagery that was conceptual, creative, and thought-provoking. Additionally, the posters needed to be of professional quality and employ the use of key design principles.

I found an organization in my area called the Somali American United Council of Arizona that is looking for volunteers to help refugees through the citizenship process. What struck me about this need is that it is simpler than I had previously imagined to help profoundly improve the lives of refugees. My target audience is someone who wants to help refugees but doesn't know how. For my posters, I chose to design a series of photographs depicting different creative scenes in which someone is trying to mend broken hearts using conventional crafting methods. The images aim to inspire curiosity about what can be done to help, and the posters include a brief explanation of citizenship coaching and the contact info for the council chairperson.
