Jean Paul Gaultier has been a popular choice for red carpet and this series of postcard illustrations were made with a selection of thirty top styles from the Cannes Festival Red Carpet over the years.
These digital illustrations were made to explore a novel technique that uses minimal and gestural strokes while replacing a hollow body shell with handwritten text of the fashion label. This replacement evidences a strong way of visual communication through a minimal use of textures, colours, flow, and distribution.
