The purpose of this project is to develop four ads: two print, one social media, and one web, to encourage people to report child abuse and neglect. The work features images of children who are in distress. This immediately captures the viewer’s attention. Staying silent is complicit in this problem. The viewer must immediately act and report any suspicious acts against children.
The ads use Lucida Grande bold typeface and hierarchy to draw the immediate attention of the viewer to the call to action. The children’s images appeal to compassion. The Cyan color has the phone number people must use to report. This color represents awareness of child abuse and prevention. The message is a cry to help stop all child abuse and neglect.
