Where is my sense of agency in the face of change, can I shape my own story?

 

In this workshop we will dive into texture and materials transformation, such as clay and vegetable tanned leather soaked in water. Movement, writing and other forms of expression will accompany us in the process.

 

🗓️ On Friday, Dec. 08, we invite creativity and warmth to an art making evening, while winter evolves and the season is transitioning, finding embodied presence and open mind to let go of the daily routines and purposeful activities and enter the space of liminal, alternative world of the imagination and poiesis, where new images and symbols can emerge and point the way to previously undiscovered possibilities.

 

Expressive Arts is an integrative, multimodal approach that utilizes a variety of methods including writing, music, visual arts, drama, and dance to help people achieve personal growth, using their own resources.

 

No prior art education needed for this workshop, come as you are. Please wear comfortable clothes so you can move freely. Bring a notebook and a pen if possible, all other materials will be offered in the space.
