Female Empowerment – We’re taking back the city!
I designed the campaign by the women's initiative in Schwäbisch Gmünd for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. I interpreted the motto “We are taking back the city” in graphics in a collage style. The individual image snippets show scenes of frightened women in the city or streets, which I have prepared so that they look like images from newspaper articles. Above all, the graphically striking zebra stripes visually run through all materials.
The main font looks like it was painted on a wall, giving the campaign an rough look. Orange is the color of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This bright color was intended to be the main character, and the minimalist color palette emphasizes the combative style of the campaign.
I designed advertising posters, flyers, the social media campaign and as an additional gadget four sticker motifs that were spread around the town.
