Sodie Life / Non-Alcoholic Seltzer
PROMPT: Sodie Life is a health-conscious producer of vitamin-infused seltzers for young adults, ages 18 - 26. They strive to provide delicious and refreshing alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages. Their seltzers are organic, use natural flavors, and infused with vitamins.
The client wanted to test design options for 2 of their new flavors: Blackberry and Cucumber.
The packaging design would be printed onto aluminum cans, and the client has plans to license distribution for liquor stores as well as retail so their product will be sold alongside beverages containing alcohol. With that in mind, the design needed to stand out amongst more traditional hard seltzer brands as a crisp and healthy alternative.
I used Adobe Photoshop to create a flat version of this design, incorporating colors and shapes I felt would be associated with carbonation in each flavor, and worked in a subtle pattern of blackberries and cucumber slices.
The design was then added to smart layers in another Photoshop file to create this mockup!
