Personal Project

For this project I knew I wanted to create something for the yearly VASS Halloween Gallery, I spent most of the summer cultivating and developing this idea. To have a hand grasping a heart, I wanted it to feature different mediums. I did a live cast of my Husband's hand holding an unfired clay heart that I had formed prior to casting. I did contemplate adding dripping red paint from the clay heart but decided I would revisit this change at a later date if I still felt like it felt "unfinished"
