"Today we are going to talk about what coins are."
Ariel Costa (AKA BlinkMyBrain), represented by Final Frontier, has directed the animation "High Energy Coin" for BMW China, in order to announce the launch of their commemorative virtual coins.
Being in a big team of creators, we were invited by to design and animate a few scenes. The goal was to keep a bold and varied style, currently used in recent BMW China ads.
An ace up our sleeves.
We got the opportunity of designing and animating a bunch of scenes, exploring different visual styles and animation tecniques. We mixed video footage, collage, cel animation and even some 3D elements.
"After a few years of evolution, the copper plate, as the "mature body" of coins, brought sweet troubles to the ancient people."
"The people of Wei, Jin and North and South Dynasties called a thousand copper coins 'consistent'."
"At that time, being the owner of thousands of consistent was not only a symbol of wealth, but also a proof of surpassing the limits of human beings."
"Always pay attention to the pop-ups, comment section as well as BMW-related secondary creations and original content."
The flip side.
Take a look behind de courtains of our process. Here is some breakdown steps of creating designs and animations for this project.
