Work-in-progress logo and visual branding for Northern Lutherie, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of electric pickups for acoustic string instruments. Specializing in systems for classical instruments, Northern Lutherie is particularly known for their upright double bass pickups. 

Drawing inspiration from the shape of a traditional string instrument F-hole and the idea of electrifying sound, I proposed a cypher that blends modern and classic aesthetics and would not look out of place alongside emblems/markings one might find on violins, cellos, and basses.
