Photoshop Poster Concepts
For these projects I wanted to learn more about layering images in photoshop, as well as the capabilities of changing the blend modes in order to add textures to the images. Each concept comes from a random thought or from a suggestion and these are the few I have come up with.
For context I have very minimal experience with photoshop and a lot of the techniques and "tricks" to make these images appear as they do comes from the credit of various creators and designers from social media who I will list at the bottom so others can learn these techniques.
"Don't Blink"
For these images I had only changed the blend mode in order for the colors to inverse themselves. The image on the left has a texture layer with the blend mode set to multiply while the other has the blend set to exclusion.
"Lets gaze into the Heavens"
For this poster concept I have also used Adobe firefly in order to create the silhouette of the couple sitting down as well as the new generate image tool in photoshop to add more stars to the background
"Dia De Los Muertos"
This was the first poster concept I had made for a lot of different reasons but one of the main ones is that I wanted to make something connected to the holiday for a long time.
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
This concept based on the iconic 1975 hit film, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", features the main character Frank-N-Furter with the tag line "Give Yourself Over to Absolute Pleasure".
"Warlords"
For this concept I have utilized the clipping mask tool in order to create a "comic-panel-esk" geometric layout of these characters. Each character is from the hit Manga/Anime series "One Piece" and each character shown above within the series has been dubbed the title of "Warlord of the Sea".
