Social Issue Poster
There are 12,500 nuclear warheads present in the world as of January 2023. This poster addresses the danger of nuclear deterrents, challenging the fact that even using them as scare tactics to keep peace between countries is harmful and there will be no peace unless nuclear weapons are out of the picture. Nukes strip the peace, they don't save it.
The main illustration of the dove was made using procreate, which began in black and white. I implemented colors within photoshop by overlaying gradient maps. I wanted the colors to be very impactful with strong contrast between cool and warm tones.
