We designed a sustainable water system for the Sino-Finnish Centre (SFC), a learning & teaching building at Tongji University, aimed at promoting sustainable water practices while revitalizing the spatial vibrancy by 2045.

To design and enact a transition experiment, we researched and analysed SFC as a socio-technical system, developed a vision of sustainability, identified social and technological leverage points, and ideated for interventions for SFC to become sustainable in 25 years.

*Identified pain points and delivered key insights for improving water consumption habits by conducting user interviews, field research, workshop and online research.
*Developed a narrative framework and guided the team in coherently integrating complex processes, presenting the results in a visually appealing, structured, and engaging format.
