WAY-FINDING & ILLUSTRATION PAMPHLET
The Abundance Fire Trail project responds to the bush track that rests beyond the fence line of my back yard. Presented as a sensory map that guides the audience through the fire trail with a specific focus on the audience’s senses in relation to space. The map allows the audience to connect to particular aspects of the land more deeply. Further, on the reverse, context is provided and instructions are given for interacting with the fire trail. There is also a QR code that lists local bush care and conservation groups, who the audience can contact and learn about their programs.
Through engaging with this project, I hope that a desire to care for the land is nurtured, encouraging the audience to walk gently in its company, so that it may continue to care for us, tomorrow and into the future.
