Dog age determination & structure
During my tenure at NEBIH, I undertook the responsibility of spearheading a project aimed at creating educational materials for new veterinarians. This proved to be one of the most challenging endeavors during my tenure, as the task demanded the meticulous depiction of anatomical features, including dentition at various life stages, as well as intricate details of bones, muscles, and internal organs.
The absence of readily available references posed a significant hurdle, compelling me to extensively search for professional-grade images on platforms like Google. Navigating through the complexities of the project, I engaged in a continuous cycle of refinement—constantly reworking, redrawing, and redesigning the artistic elements. This process was intensified by the simultaneous management of two to three other projects, all within a tight timeframe of one month.
While the representation of teeth may appear unconventional, it was a deliberate choice to accurately reflect the diversity in their appearance during the specified age range—ranging from sharp to blunt, and exhibiting signs of wear and tear. The artistic renderings were strategically crafted to be simple and transparent, aligning with the educational objectives of the project.
Through this experience, I demonstrated my ability to adeptly leverage external information, even under challenging circumstances, to deliver a high-quality and impactful project within the given constraints.
