According to WHO, (World Health Organization) in South Africa, over the past 5 years, the number of births to young and adolescent girls between 10 and 14 years of age increased by 48.7%. If a young girl between the age of 10 and 14 gets pregnant, it is not teenage pregnancy, it is rape.
To raise awareness on this societal issue, we created a print campaign for POWA, where we have beautifully shot images
of what, at first glance, appears to be sisters on an editorial layout, but in actual fact, when we zoom into the body copy,
are mother and daughter.
This piece of work won BRONZE at The Loeries.
