A new Brand Identity for Tata Imagination Challenge

   


The Tata Imagination Challenge is an annual idea competition that’s held across India by the Tata group. ‘India’s biggest idea competition’ invites entries from college students across the country (over 10,000 campuses) and from Tata employees around the world. 

We've created a fresh new logo and identity for this creating a bright new look that’s more in sync with the competition’s target audience: young people with fresh ideas.

How does an idea come to us?
It could begin with a single stray thought which flits around in our minds before it begins to take shape.This might collide with another thought, creating a spark, which makes the concept bloom into something inspiring.

The logo captures this flow and depicts a thought taking shape and growing into a tangible idea.

The brand identity
For the larger identity, we look back at human imagination that has inspired change.

Inventions that have changed the world, changed the way people live, making
lives more comfortable, easing pain, improving efficiency. These inventions, too, were the result of perhaps a simple thought that bloomed into a revolutionary idea.
