Leap Motion Experiment

This an experiment with the original Leap Motion devkit by Mike Mandel and myself. Our goal was to make an expressive visual instrument with the Leap and openframeworks in one day.  I worked on controlling the Camel Audio sampler/synth with Leap data. Each finger played a different note upon be recognized by the Leap. Once the note was playing, the position of the finger in 3d space controlled one set of synth parameters and the velocity of the finger control another set of parameters.  Mike worked on visualizing the paths of the fingers and sounds generated by the synth. He also came up with some creative solutions to common Leap problems such as lost fingers, misidentified fingers, etc.
