Burning text into stone with acid, then using the stone pieces to print t-shirts. I'm getting somewhere, I think, but this is still work in progress.

The idea is to exhibit the stones and the t-shirts together, questioning the status of each as art, tool, or fashion and creating semiological shifts in the words by altering their material contexts.

Also I fekin love t-shirts as an unpretentious and ironic medium in which to talk about deeper things than t-shirts often talk about.

The double intention, poetic and banal, is perfectly encapsulated by the two media of this project.
