User Experience Process Alignment

Experience Leadership
Creating shared understanding
One part of my work that I enjoy a lot is helping people understand how to benefit from user experience design competencies. This comes through in the way that I interact with clients and colleagues, asking questions from a user experience point of view; for example asking "What do your users think?".  Also the processes and methodologies - if anyone cared to ask, are easily aligned with existing creative problem solving capabilities and workflows.

Sometimes I use a format that is more familiar, and much more structured, to communicate what UX is and isn't, and how a design evolves over its course.  The greatest identifiable benefit I see from this is that project contributors and sometimes stakeholders understand when to do their part.  That's really important to both the likelihood that the project will deliver on its goals, and that the project will benefit most from the contributions of the team.
