About the project

Vignon Bois is a french company offering dry firewood. This project involves the redesign of its visual identity and the creation of new wireframes for its website.

The challenge

My primary goal was to enhance its visual identity and make it more appealing while staying true to the company's core values. This required merging the company's expertise with a visual image that could attract new customers and meet their current expectations.

● Creation of a new visual identity

● Prototypes of the home page, contact page, and 404 error page

Research

I initiated my research by creating a moodboard, which allowed me to gather various sources of inspiration, relevant visual elements, and innovative ideas.

Visual Identity

● Logo : The creation of the logo for Vignon Bois was an important step in modernizing its visual identity. I opted for a minimalist design where a wood log is depicted in a clean and minimalist manner, highlighting the core of the company's activity. This simple yet evocative logo symbolizes the quality and authenticity of Vignon Bois products while conveying a contemporary and professional image.

● Fonts : I chose the "Sora" and "Poppins" fonts for their harmonious combination. The "Sora" font was selected for its raw and authentic appearance, while "Poppins" adds a touch of modernity with its rounded shapes.

● Colors : To convey the authenticity of Vignon Bois and its alignment with its field of activity, I opted for a primarily neutral color palette, highlighting black, gray, and cream tones. The orange shade #D53E0F was incorporated as an accent color to draw the eye and add a touch of dynamism. This palette allows Vignon Bois to stand out in a unique way.

Prototypes

The prototypes I designed for the Vignon Bois project are characterized by their dark aesthetic, evoking an authentic atmosphere rooted in the forest environment. The images used in the interface are directly sourced from Vignon Bois' daily operations, showcasing the company's work and the quality of its wood products.
