Coin Light
Coin Lite is a "light design" that is a motif of intuitive equivalent exchange using "coins" and "coins inlets."
‘코인 라이트는’ ‘동전’과 ‘동전 투입구’를 사용하던 직관적인 등가교환의 행위를 모티브로 풀어낸 조명 디자인입니다.
Background
The moment you insert a coin into the "coin slot," it all becomes an act of "equivalent exchange." Through reinterpreting the actions that occur during this process and integrating them with a medium that can contain them, we aim to provide a design that allows the younger generation to experience the intuitive and analog emotions that were once felt when using the disappearing "coin slot."
‘동전 투입구’에 ‘동전’을 투입하는 순간은 모두 ‘등가교환’을 목적으로 하게 됩니다. 이 과정에서 나오는 행위를 재해석하여 담을 수 있는 매체를 찾아 융합하여, 점차 사라져 가는 ‘동전 투입구’를 사용할 때 느낄 수 있던 직관적이며 아날로그적인 감성을 신세대의 아이들도 경험할 수 있는 디자인을 제시하려고 합니다.
IDEA
If we metaphorically equate "coins" with "coin slots" and the act of "equal exchange" to "light," wouldn't we intuitively perceive the value of the time we can spend in the darkness as well?
"동전"을 "동전 투입구"에 투입하여 "등가교환"하는 것을 "빛"으로 비유한다면, 우리는 어둠 속에서도 활동할 수 있는 시간의 가치를 "직관적으로" 느끼게 되지 않을까요?
