H x AUFGLET 'Born From Nature'
Concept : Born From Nature
We are pleased to announce a collaborative media art project between Union H (Director Heath Kim) and AUFGLET. The art concept for the project is 'Born From Nature'. The restaurant in Edward Hopper's "7AM" is reimagined as an abstract contemporary architecture, and four different "AUFGLET Chamber Cakes" (7AM, 12PM, 9PM, and 12AM) are created within the space, born from the forces of nature. The virtual black sphere that symbolizes the AUFGLET, the door to the black sphere, and the natural beauty that is felt over time in Edvard Hopper's space were expressed in 3D art, and the appearance of the cakes being created by the energy of nature was created through 3D liquid simulation. We used Unreal Engine for visualization of the sea+architecture+natural environment and Cinema 4D, Houdini for creation simulation, and Blender for liquid animation.
유니온H (디렉터 히스킴)와 아우프글렛의 협업 미디어아트를 공개합니다. 프로젝트의 아트 컨셉은 ‘Born From Nature’ 입니다. 에드워드 호퍼의 작품 '7AM' 속 레스토랑을 추상적인 현대 건축양식으로 재해석해, 그 공간 안에서 자연의 힘을 받아 탄생하는 4종류의 '아우프글렛 챔버 케이크' (7AM, 12PM, 9PM, 12AM)를 연출했습니다. 아우프글렛을 상징하는 가상의 검은 구, 검은 구의 문을 지나 에드워드 호퍼의 공간에서 시간의 흐름에 따라 느껴지는 자연미를 3D아트적으로 표현했으며, 자연의 기운을 받아 탄생하는 케이크의 모습은 3D 액체 시뮬레이션을 통해 연출했습니다. 또한, 바다+건축물+자연환경의 시각화를 위해 '언리언엔진'을, 생성 시뮬레이션을 위해 '시네마4D'와 '후디니'를 그리고 액체 애니메이션을 위해 '블렌더'를 사용했습니다.
