To coincide with the release of Guardians of the Galaxy this summer I wanted to model the iconic Star Lord mask and adapt the design for 3D printing. The following images demonstrate the process in which I sculpted and 3D printed the mask. 

Base mesh sculpted from a single sphere. Trim dynamic, flatten, polish, pinch and move brush were used to create the basic contours

Retopologizing & Adaptive skin

Segments apended into one working file to be merged
