Initial idea:
After going out and living in reality for so long, a girl decided to visit her mind to greet her creations and emotions.
In 'her' mind, there will be "thoughts/imagination" and "emotions". Different materials will represent the "thoughts" and "emotions". For example, real-life objects such as hair clips, embroidery floss and pieces of clothing will be used to represent the thoughts while digital shapes of different colours will represent the emotions or vice versa.

I wanna explore my mind more and learn how it works.
Most of my inspiration comes from an animated show called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I like how the background looks like a cut-out blends with 2D characters. I decided to combine stop-motion and digital animation. I also choose to use vibrant colours for my animation, so that people will pay attention to everything on the screen. The music producer for this show is Yuki Kajiura which also became my inspiration for sound design.

I looked for background music and sound.
I really like Yuki Kajiura's music, so I wanted to find something similar. But I couldn't find any that I like or think would fit for my project.

WEEK 11
After some test shots with 2 different mediums, I decided on what I wanted to do. I decided to use ToonBoom.
I decided to go fully digital.

Week 12
For this week, I did a reflecting session.
I did compile some of the shots but I'll add and edit more as I decided to add more stop-motion elements into my animation and combine it with digital animation.
While I was animating, I was so lost. I couldn't find out what I was trying to do. This reflecting session helps me to find what I was trying to do again and I got more inspiration.
I sped up some shots and I like them more because they stimulate my brain.
I identified and labeled the shots that I like or dislike. I ended up using all of them. For the sound and background music, I couldn't find the music that I want, so I decided to choose different songs and replicate the vibes.
Here, I combined the stop-motion and digital animation which looks more interesting.

WEEK 13
I put songs and sound effects after I finished compiling my shots and adjusted the timing of some of the shots. I also used some filters for some shots.
I sped up shots and add more sounds until I feel satisfied with it. At first, the only sound I had is piano musics, but I still feels empty. So, I decided to put white noise.
