Wipeout Ship design  

I have made my own version of a wipe out ship and team which is inspired by the game wipe out. I have achieved this by doing research and using 2D and 3D creative skills. The research I did was about the history of how the first wipe out game come out . I also researched the impact wipe out had to the industry, the aesthetic and design of the game, what was different about the original wipe out and I researched the most unique or significant characteristics of the franchise.  

I then created my wipe out team I called the team Spherical. The reason I chose that name is because I wanted my team to mainly focus on the shields I also wanted my teams ships to have a decent thrust as well. I done some thumbnail sketches of my wipe out logos: 

I then picked a favourite design and made it in adobe illustrator. Afterwards I made three more variations of the design.

I then started work on my Wipe out ship design. I created thumbnails for my ship by looking at concept art and images of vehicles. When I chose a design that I liked I made a orthographic for the ship in Illustrator.

I then used the orthographic I made for the ship to help me with modelling it in blender.  I then textured and rendered my ship here is the final design.
