Mädchen*- Empowerment Camp.
Animated video to promote the camp on social networks and website for the non-profit organization basa e.V.
About this Project:
This time I had the opportunity to collaborate with basa e.v. A self-governing, grassroots educational institution that formulates offers of political youth education, youth occupational assistance and youth counseling. They approached me with the need to create a video to promote the camp 2022.
This camp takes place every year and is a 5 day space full of learning, exchange, creativity and where the girls have the opportunity to participate in different workshops.
The challenge was to create a video with a modern look and feel that would catch the girls' attention and invite them to be part of the camp.
With this in mind, we used a collage style, which is very trendy lately, combined with a dynamic animation of text and images in black and white and a bright, saturated color palette. To complement this idea we used geometric shapes and symbols associated with women's empowerment to reinforce the camp's message.
The video had a lot of engagement in the instagram account of the organization, so they additionally asked me to design the poster, flyer and carousel instagram post as part of the same campaign for the camp.
I am very happy that the project was a success and I am looking forward to continue collaborating with this organization and supporting their causes with my work. If you want to know a little more about what basa e.V. does, you can check out their website here.
