With the advent of tablets and various artistic apps & kinds of stylus to mimic painting and drawing digitally, I decided to continue creating characters by combining old world techniques and sensibilities with the technologies available on the market. My drawings incorporate and combine Adobe Sketch, Adobe Ideas, and Paper53. I utilize both Pencil by Paper53 and the Sensu Brush.

The process of crossbreeding apps proves to be a bit of a challenge at first, requiring many exports, re-saves, and importing from app to app, but the results of this process produces quite interesting results. What one app may lack, the other balances perfectly. For example, Paper53 does not allow the importing of saved images into its program or have layers, but Adobe Ideas provides these tools.
Of course, limitations are by no means a negative thing. Limitations inspire the best artists to find workarounds.
