Rio SkinLab Visual Language

The project goal was to redesign Riô visual expressions to deliver its new positioning: from a Skincare to a derma-cosmetic brand that offers global excellence standards for the specific needs of Brazilian skin.

Its new expressions target dermatologists and experienced consumers; therefore, we decided on a well-structured approach that champions data and scientific information in plain black and white.

However, since it is a brand focused on Brazilian skin, we combine this scientific approach with a warm photography language and bold, colorful images from science, such as histology and macroscopic imagery.
