We were approached by Unilever for the launch of Walls Hazelnut Chocolate Ice-cream for which they wanted to develop the campaign visual completely in CGI. The brief was to develop a rich and appetizing swirl of dark chocolate fused with full and broken slightly roasted Hazelnut pieces and into this swirl the Walls Hazelnut Chocolate Ice Cream tub is dipped creating a splash of the chocolate liquid and Hazelnut pieces. We created an initial form of the entire visual and once approved created the finished look completely in CGI. The key benefits of using CGI for a visual like this is being able to control the form, motion of liquid and elements in a way which may be difficult to capture so precisely if we were to take the photography route. We are glad to be given an opportunity to work with an iconic brand and develop a detailed and rich visual for their successful launch.
