These pictures were taken on 9/22/23, featuring my childhood pet Harlow and my mother Beth. My intention for this prompt was to focus on two lights in my life known for the joy they spread, focusing on the concept of "smile lines". As I mentioned in a previous post, I was accidentally in the wrong photo format on my camera, thus making jpegs instead of the raw files we aim for. I was unaware I was in the wrong mode until after shooting these so for future reference I know I'll be in the right mode. That being said, I'm still really proud of these photos, and think they capture both of them really well. I wish I could've gotten closer to the details on them and their actual wrinkles, however I struggled keeping Harlow still and found things got blurry when I was too close. Overall very pleased with myself, however I'm aware of where I need to improve going forward.
