Creative Exchange: Our Story (2023)

As part of Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography's Honours Creative Exchange in Harare, Zimbabwe, I was required to present a workshop to students from the National Gallery of Harare’s School of Visual Arts. The subject of the workshop was ‘Autobiographic Comicstrips’.
In preparation for the workshop, along with feeling overly inspired by the artists at Mbare Art Space, I set out to create a series of comicstrips telling of our experiences on the exchange. Despite already showcasing beautiful footage of each part of the trip, these short visual stories aim to tell about the lived experiences through my eyes.
