TAPESTRY - CONTRE-PIED  in collaboration with Néolice/manufacture Robert Four - Aubusson - France 2023

On the same scale as Hétérotopies, Contre-Pied, moves away from the man/nature duality to talk to us about social phenomena. We see a series of paintings organized into scenes, which could make one think of the stained glass windows of cathedrals. Here unfolds a certain history of the contemporary party. Contre-pied questions the spaces of freedom and unrolls an ascending frieze where the characters who usually seem to oppose each other, clink glasses and dance together, leaving their ideologies aside.
