The actual Apollo 11 splashdown happened on July 24, 1969, but that moment, and the entire campaign has been resonating ever since. Inspiring generations, countries, populations, and individuals, to nurture and develop ideas/ambitions, that no matter how long the gestation period, have to be born, acted upon, and fulfilled.

The all too delayed return to the Moon recommences in 2024, with the beginning of the NASA Artemis campaign. Born after the Apollo landing, I never got to experience that in the moment euphoria, awe and wonder at mankind’s ability to achieve pure splendour, Artemis will change that, for me, and the rest of the world. To dream, to build, to be.
