Rian Johnson's Knives Out is a film produced by Lionsgate that falls within the "Whodunit" genre (from "Who has done it?"), thus taking inspiration from board games such as Cluedo. This film stands out for its distinguished ensemble of actors, including Ana de Armas, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, and Toni Collette.

We intend to create an audiovisual opening titles for the film, that enhances the enigmatic and intriguing essence of the whodunit genre, amplifies the presence of the aforementioned actors, and conveys that labyrinthine sensation evoked by the movie's architectures.
In alignment with the original film, the aesthetics of our opening titles' proposal play a pivotal role. To achieve this singular aesthetic, we drew primary inspiration from the architecture of the Gothic Revival mansion and the Eames' House in Massachusetts, where the exteriors and interiors of the movie were filmed, respectively. The wallpaper patterns in various rooms and their ornate embellishments served as our muse for crafting highly three-dimensional animated graphics.

Additionally, we incorporated numerous references, both internal (pertaining to the film itself) and external, not necessarily present in the cinematic work but capable of offering viewers a clue about what they are about to witness.

As mentioned earlier, one of the strong points of this film is its cast. Therefore, we deliberately wanted to feature the faces of the main actors in the opening titles. To achieve this, we crafted their silhouettes from different wallpaper patterns that we believe faithfully represent their personalities. In this way, something that might initially appear arbitrary proves not to be, revealing that in this movie, everything is meticulously planned.

Thus, in Ana de Armas' silhouette, light blue predominates, symbolizing innocence, while in Chris Evans' silhouette, we use a wallpaper with a red snake pattern, symbolizing betrayal and malevolence.
The soundtrack

We have already mentioned Daniel Craig as one of the members of the film's cast. This is another of its strong points; the rapid association the audience will make with the James Bond franchise. Far from attempting to avoid this (something practically impossible), we aim to enhance it and thus attract the most loyal audience of Agent 007.

To achieve this, we employ a musical thread, lead by the song "I belong to you" by Caro Emerald, whose sound immediately recalls those mysterious and high-society environments in which Bond operates.
