ABOUT

This two-bedroom apartment with an area of 64 square meters is located in the city of Lviv. The owner is a young man who works in the IT field, for whom the apartment is not only a place to live but also a place where he can work. In this property, we decided to forgo the usual open-plan kitchen and left two rooms - a living room and a bedroom. We aimed to make the interior as simple as possible while remaining practical, using gray tones and natural textures in the design of materials.
The kitchen turned out to be quite spacious, even though its area is not very large. The kitchen itself is done in white and gray tones and hardly draws attention to itself, which makes the space feel uncluttered.
The centerpiece of the room is a round table adorned with rich brown veneer, which can be extended when needed to accommodate more guests along with four vibrant leather chairs.
Also, attention is drawn to the painting created by Yaroslava.
The entrance area turned out to be quite interesting. Since there was no space for a separate wardrobe in the apartment, its function is performed by a large wardrobe in the corridor. To make it appear less massive, we "lightened" it with open shelves in the center. These shelves were made from thin metal sheets and recessed into concealed grooves, resulting in a very attractive unit that we also illuminated for added effect.
We named this property "Norr," inspired by the eponymous collection of Italian porcelain stoneware from the Mirage factory, which replicates the "stone effect." We used this collection to decorate the floors of the corridor, kitchen, and bathroom.
The living room also turned out to be quite compact. All that was needed here was a comfortable sofa and an accent wall adorned with wooden panels, featuring a television and an additional workspace integrated into a single structure with the TV stand.
On the floor, there is a rich chocolate-colored parquet, which, in combination with the gray sofa and the rug, looks very stylish. Of course, there's also a vase that adds coziness to this room and thick linen curtains.
We paid great attention to details. They are the ones that create the overall picture and impression of the interior. Fabric, rugs, parquet, surfaces, tiles, wood - all of these are elements from which one wants to derive visual and tactile pleasure.
Finally, we reached the bedroom. The entire furniture section was designed as a single unit to ensure a harmonious blend. A sturdy bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe with milled facades, and a spacious workspace – all these elements were exactly what the owner of this apartment needed to fulfill all his requirements.
The wall behind the bed is made of microcement. We decided to leave the ceiling concrete and not decorate it in any way, just like in the living room, to maintain the room's height.
The bathroom, in terms of its configuration, is quite simple. The entire room is adorned with stone-like tiles. Black fixtures with chrome faucets and black holders have been used for the plumbing.
