In 1996, Agroexportadora El Palenque was founded by the visionary Raúl Arcos Lozano. This beginning marked the start of a transformative journey that culminated in the official consolidation of the company as Grupo Agrícola El Palenque on February 27, 2006. Since then, the company has transcended, becoming the largest producer of fresh mango in southern Mexico and one of the most prominent nationally, managing over 1800 hectares in production across four states.

Grupo Palenque has expanded its presence in the industry by strategically establishing packing facilities in the southern, central, and northern regions, covering states such as Oaxaca, Nayarit, and Sinaloa. Currently, the company produces various mango varieties, such as Ataulfo, Tommy Atkins, Kent, Keitt, Nam Dok Mai, and Mallika, catering to a wide range of international markets in countries like the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan.

One of the defining pillars of Grupo Palenque is its comprehensive and vertical approach to the industry. The adopted monolithic brand architecture enables the company to strategically coordinate the production, harvesting, packaging, marketing, and export of fresh mango. This approach, characterized by its vertical integration, has facilitated the implementation of joint strategies, providing added value to the end consumer through organic and conventional raw materials, bioproducts derived from organic waste, and eco-friendly packaging.

In addition to its commitment to the mango industry, Grupo Palenque is dedicated to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. The company focuses on product diversification, entering the retail market and exploring new varieties of fresh and processed mango. This strategic expansion aims to maximize available resources and meet the changing demands of current markets. In its mission to offer unique products that meet market demands, Grupo Palenque pursues maximum competitiveness, fully leveraging the available resources. This commitment translates into four business lines: Packing, Agro, Snacks, and Logistics. These lines encompass everything from fruit cultivation to packaging and distribution, showcasing Palenque's ability to comprehensively address each stage of the process.
