Hamburger Kunsthalle
In July 2014 Hamburg’s renowned Hamburger Kunsthalle closed parts of the museum for the public to undergo extensive modernization. »Galerie der Gegenwart« the 1997 built part of the museum remained open to offer an attractive program for its visitors.
To underline the museum’s openness was the main ambition of the »Weiter Offen« (translated »Further Open«) campaign we developed for Hamburger Kunsthalle along with a new font.

Web Design
To continously report on the progress of the construction, current exhibitions and events we furthermore designed a microsite which partially operates as a blog and provides visitors with special insights into the process.
Printed Matters
Graphic Design
We designed flyers, posters and other printed matter including banners outside the buildings inform visitors about the modernisation.
Spot On
Graphic Design
As part of the modernization Hamburger Kunsthalle showcased selected masterpieces from their own unique collection by literally placing them in the spotlight in an exhibition called »Spot On«. Likewise the specially designed dot type of the »Weiter Offen« campaign was applied for the exhibition.

Campaign
Following »Weiter Offen« we designed a campaign for Hamburger Kunsthalle that communicates its strengths by using temporary structures of the construction site around the museum as advertising space. A poster campaign throughout Hamburg supports the museums's ambition to keep a high profile during the construction period.
