Brand and website design for a unique online network

Client
The Well is an online meeting place for the growing global vocal improvisation community. It supports and inspires collaboration and vocal practice between its members and explores their musical relationship with the natural world.

Requirements
The Well’s founders approached Out of Place with the request of creating a unique and impactful brand and website that reflected the diversity and vibrancy of their members and community.

Delivery 
The resulting brand identity featured a modern logo, a set of supporting visuals, and a striking colour palette. The community’s values of diversity, collaboration, the natural world, and being a source of inspiration and support for one another’s vocal practices were all reflected in the brand’s illustrated shapes and logo.
The websites primary function is to engage the vocal improvisation community and encourage collaboration. A custom Wordpress system was designed and built which centred around a multi-lingual, easy-to-use members portal in which members could add and manage events, profiles and subscriptions, whilst finding other members of the community and events around the world through event listings and populated maps.
