In August 2013 the Unique Central of Favelas (Cufa in portuguese) started a project, the Papo Reto (straight talk). The proposal was help students and teachers of the elementary school in Porto Alegre, with workshops, seminaries, and talks. The focus was combating drugs and violence on childhood. On that year, the area of communication grown in the organization, so the Papo Reto magazine was created.
